The Greater Metro Hockey League held its annual draft on May 20, and one Arizona native was selected.

San Tan Valley native and forward Mason Bryant went in the eighth round (143rd overall) to the Brighton Vikings.

An Arizona Bobcats alum, Bryant put up three goals and seven points in 44 games last season for the NA3HL’s Buzz Hockey Club.
