Glendale product, Jr. Coyotes alum McCosh advances career, commits to NCAA D-III Buffalo State

 

The NAHL’s New Mexico Ice Wolves announced today that forward Michael McCosh has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Buffalo State (SUNYAC).

McCosh, 20, just completed his second and final season playing junior hockey in the NAHL for New Mexico. The Glendale native served as team captain for the Ice Wolves during the 2020-21 season and recorded six points (two goals, four assists) in 55 games.

During the 2019-20 season, McCosh appeared in 52 regular-season games for New Mexico and recorded nine points (two goals, seven assists).

McCosh made his NAHL debut during the 2017-18 season with the Johnstown Tomahawks, recording two points in seven games that season.

During his youth hockey career, McCosh skated for the Jr. Coyotes.
