Jr. Coyotes, DYHA, Notre Dame Prep alum, Scottsdale native Curry nets weekly NA3HL honors
The NA3HL has announced that Binghamton Buzz forward Carson Curry is the East Division Star of the Week.
Curry and the Buzz kicked off the calendar year on a high note, sweeping the New Jersey Titans on the road. The Scottsdale native recorded two points in each game, bringing his point total to 31 points on the year.
During Saturday’s 5-1 victory, Curry netted his team’s fourth goal in the final period and also recorded an assist on the fifth goal. His momentum carried over into Sunday’s game as he scored a pair of goals, his second two-goal game of the 2024-25 campaign. Of his two goals, one was scored on the man advantage while the other was tabbed as the game winner.
“Carson is a phenomenal player that we have a lot of confidence in,” Buzz president of hockey operations Ray Welsh said. “Curry is consistently putting in the extra work on and off the ice, and it was only a matter of time before his hard work would be recognized on a league scale. Our group will rely on Carson along with the rest of the team in order to have continued success.”
Back home, Curry played for the Jr. Coyotes, DYHA Jr. Sun Devils and Notre Dame Prep.
