Jr. Coyotes grad Littler named BCHL 1st Star of the Week

Wenatchee Wild forward Cade Littler has been named the BCHL 1st Star of the Week.

Littler was on fire in Wenatchee’s three-game home set against the Merritt Centennials last week, collecting nine points in three games to lead all BCHL scorers. His four goals on the week were also the most in the league, while his five assists tied him for first.

On Thursday, Littler opened the scoring for the Wild in the first period, then added two power-play assists in the second, leading the way in a 6-1 home win and a first-star nomination. The following night, the 17-year-old was even more impressive as he notched his second career BCHL hat trick and added an assist for good measure in a 6-2 victory over the Cents. Littler was again named first star of the game. The East Wenatchee, Wash., native capped off his impressive week with another multi-point effort, this time with two assists in the Wild’s 4-1 win on Saturday night.

Littler now sits one point back of the team lead with 23 points in 19 games and one back of the Wild lead in goals with 10.

During his youth hockey days, Littler spent time with the Jr. Coyotes.
