The USPHL has announced that Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights blueliner Isaac Yurkanin is the Atlantic Elite Division Defenseman of the Week.

Yurkanin, an ‘04 from Mesa, registered the first goal and two assists of his season for three points in a pair of wins against the PAL Jr. Islanders.

He has helped the Knights go 4-0 to bridge November and December.

During his youth hockey days, Yurkanin played for the Arizona Hockey Union, Arizona Bobcats, and in the AHSHA for Hamilton, Corona del Sol, and Campo Verde.
