Boston College sophomore forward Cutter Gauthier has been named Hockey East Player of the Month and the Hockey Commissioners Association National Player of the Month.

He also earned First Team All-American honors.

In eight games during the month of March, the Scottsdale native was second in the nation in points (16) and goals (8).

Gauthier tallied the game-winning goals in the Hockey East semifinals and championship, as well as registering multi-point efforts in the first and second round contests at the NCAA Providence Regional. His two goals against Michigan Tech brought his season total 37, the third most in a season in program history. Gauthier recorded his 100th career point with his first assist in the 5-4 victory over Quinnipiac on Sunday.
