NA Now: New Mexico Ice Wolves
The NA Now video series will feature an in-depth look into all NAHL teams in preparation for the 2024-25 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 13th. NA Now will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2024-25 season.

Head Coach: Kevin Hartzell (1st season)
2023-24 season record: 32-19-6-3 – 73 points (4th in South Division)
2023-24 leading scorer: Yusaku Ando (62 points)
2024 Playoffs: Lost in Division Semifinals 3-1 against Lone Star
2024-25 Division: South Division
Newly appointed head coach Kevin Hartzell has been in and around the New Mexico organization since its inception in the 2019-2020 season. Hartzell has junior hockey coaching experience dating back to the 1980s and is excited to be back behind the bench to grow players at a pivotal point in their hockey careers. Being around the junior hockey space and the NAHL throughout its long history, he commends the maturity and stability of the league and the competition and opportunity it provides. With the NAHL Showcase just a few weeks away, Hartzell and the staff look forward to preparing these players for the season and showcasing their talents in Blaine.
