Phoenix native, Jr. Coyotes alum Hein garners weekly NA3HL accolades
Texas RoadRunners goalie Hunter Hein has been named the NA3HL’s South Division Star of the Week.
Hein put up a wall in the RoadRunners’ net last week, winning both of his starts and picking up a shutout as he stopped 46 of 47 total shots.
The Phoenix native stopped all 29 pucks that came his way in Friday’s win, then bookended the weekend set with a 17-save effort in yet another victory, sealing up a 3-0-0 start for the RoadRunners.
Hein played seven games for Texas last season, picking up one win in that span and recording a .908 save percentage and 3.70 GAA.
During his youth hockey career, Hein played for the Jr. Coyotes.
