The UCHC has announced that Utica senior forward Hailey Modlin is the Player of the Week.

Modlin registered five points on two goals and three assists and was plus-7 over Utica’s weekend sweep against Stevenson.

Modlin’s pair of goals came over just seven shots between both games while also dominating on the faceoff dot, winning 21 of 26 attempts.

In Friday’s 9-0 win, the Phoenix native assisted on Utica’s first and second goals of the game before scoring one of her own. She also assisted on another goal in the third period to cap off a four-point, plus-5 performance. On Saturday, Modlin notched one goal on four shot attempts while also going 7-of-11 on the faceoff dot and was plus-2.

Back home, Modlin played for the Arizona Kachinas and Arizona Lady Coyotes.
