Hockey East has announced that Boston College freshman forward Cutter Gauthier is the conference’s Rookie of the Week.

Gauthier, a Scottsdale native, posted three points in three games last week, including two power-play goals and an assist. He registered his third multi-point game of the season on Tuesday in a 4-2 road win at Brown.

Gauthier closed the week with 12 shots on goal.
