Riley Benson, who plays for the Arizona Kachinas’ 19U AA Elite team, committed this week to play ACHA Division I college hockey next season for Grand Canyon University.

“We are so proud of Riley for her commitment to GCU,” said Kachinas coach Vanessa Maines. “I’ve watched her work incredibly hard the past seven years and can’t wait to continue watching her success playing at the next level. She has always lead by example and we know she will continue to do so at GCU.”

The Antelopes play in the Western Women’s Collegiate Hockey League (WWCHL).
