Rhinos teammates, Arizona natives Butler, Clough bag monthly NA3HL honors

 

A pair of Arizona natives and El Paso Rhinos teammates have been named monthly award winners in the NA3HL.

The NA3HL Forward of the Month is Phoenix native Caden Butler while Scottsdale’s Colin Clough is the NA3HL Defenseman of the Month.

Butler was red-hot in the month of January in the 10 games he appeared in, recording an outstanding 28 points. He lit the lamp 11 times and added 17 assists to go along with a plus-23 rating. So far this season, Butler has appeared in 30 games with 60 points (24 goals, 36 assists) and leads the Rhinos in scoring.

Butler is also tied for 11th place in the NA3HL amongst all scorers.

During his youth hockey days, Butler played the Jr. Coyotes and Pinnacle High School.

Clough added 17 points in the nine games he played in January. The blueliner scored five goals and handed out 12 assists for those 17 points while holding an outstanding plus-24 rating. He has played in 31 games this year with 10 goals and 23 assists for 33 points.

Clough is currently ranked #10 in the NA3HL’s top scoring defenders.

Back home, Clough played for the Jr. Coyotes, Arizona Bobcats and Mountain Ridge High School.
