Minnesota State freshman forward Reid Morich has been named CCHA Rookie of the Week.

In a series sweep at Ferris State over the weekend, the Fountain Hills native totaled three goals, eight shots on goal and one blocked shot for the Mavericks. He posted his first career multi-goal game in Friday night’s 6-1 victory. His power-play goal on Saturday ended as the game winner in a 4-3 win.

Morich has six points in his last six games for MSU. In 27 games in 2025-26, Morich has five goals and four assists with 35 shots on goal and 40 penalty minutes.

Back home, Morich spent time playing with the Jr. Coyotes.
