The NAHL’s Elmira Aviators have announced that defenseman Cole Brown has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Wentworth Institute of Technology.

The Tempe native wrapped up his age-out season with the Aviators in 2025-26, lacing up in 41 games and recording a goal and an assist.

Prior to joining Aviators on a full-time basis, Brown had a five-game call-up with the NAHL club last season while spending his time with the NA3HL’s Binghamton Buzz during his 2024-25 campaign. With the Buzz, Brown registered 19 points (five goals, 14 assists) in 32 games with a plus-23 rating.

In Arizona, Brown played for the Arizona Hockey Union and Arizona Bobcats.
