Bobcats, Jr. Coyotes, Pinnacle alum Hawley garners monthly USPHL honor

The USPHL has announced that Elmira Jr. Enforcers blueliner Logan Hawley is the Atlantic West Division Defenseman of the Month.

The Jr. Enforcers have not been quite the force that they were in their first season in 2020-21, when they took their magic all the way to the USPHL National Championships and kicked off their stand there with a win over the top-seeded Metro Jets.

Nevertheless, they have had regularly strong efforts from Hawley, a 2002 birth year from Cave Creek.

Along with leading the Elmira defense with six points, he’s also the team leader in plus-minus at minus-2 (a good number on a struggling squad) and he’s put himself in front of the puck on a regular basis with 13 blocked shots. He also throws his weight around with five hits so far this year.

During his youth hockey days, Hawley played for the Arizona Bobcats and Jr. Coyotes and at Pinnacle High School.
