Hamilton grad, Bobcats product Miller wins monthly honors from USPHL
Rockets Hockey Club defenseman Skylar Miller has been named one of the USPHL Premier Players of the Month for the North Region.
The Rockets are yet again contending for No. 1 in the regular season in the USPHL Premier because, again, they have no weak links up or down their lineup.
Miller, a 2001-born Chandler native, third-year Rocket and second-year USPHL Premier veteran, provides both scoring and a high defensive creed. Along with the two goals and six assists in his nine games for January, he also led his team in puck challenges won (48) and takeaways (67).
During his youth career, Miller played for Hamilton High School and for the Arizona Bobcats.
