Michigan Tech freshman forward Logan Morrell has been named CCHA Rookie of the Week after recording five points in the Huskies’ series against Bemidji State. 

The Mesa native scored a pair of goals each night while also adding an assist for a three-point game on Saturday. 

Morrell, a Jr. Coyotes graduate, is riding a three-game point streak and is second on the team with seven goals, which ranks eighth amongst NCAA rookies.
