Jr. Coyotes alum, Scottsdale native DeAngelis off to NCAA D-III hockey at University of New England
The NAHL’s Minnesota Wilderness have announced that defenseman Ryan DeAngelis has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of New England.
The Scottsdale native is a second-year veteran of the Wilderness, skating in 117 games in a Minnesota sweater. This past season, the ‘05 recorded 14 points (three goals, 11 assists) in 55 games as the Wilderness clinched the Midwest Division title and had the opportunity to compete for the Robertson Cup.
In the postseason, the Jr. Coyotes alum laced up in all 12 postseason games, putting up three assists.
In DeAngelis’ debut season in 2024-25, he recorded a goal and eight assists for nine points in 50 games.
