The USPHL has announced that Provo Predators blueliner Brent Scott is the Mountain Division Defenseman of the Week.

Scott was acquired from the Minnesota Mullets in early December and has very much been an early Christmas gift for the Provo blue line. The Litchfield Park native notched four points (2-2-4) in four games at the USPHL Las Vegas Showcase, blocked four shots, and led the team in ice time with over 80 penalty-free minutes.

Since putting on a Predators sweater, Scott has nine points (5-4-9) in his first 10 games.

In Arizona, Scott starred for the Arizona Bobcats, Jr. Coyotes, DYHA Jr. Sun Devils, Arizona Hockey Union and Arizona Runners.
