Following a 2-1 victory over defending national champion Quinnipiac, Boston College sophomore forward Cutter Gauthier has been named Hockey East Player of the Week. 

The Scottsdale native scored the game-winning goal against the second-ranked Bobcats with 9.5 seconds left in overtime on Saturday night at M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, Conn.

He led all skaters with eight shots on goal in the game and netted his 17th collegiate goal in his 33rd game.
