Central Division Star of the Week: Joey Strada, forward, Aberdeen Wings

Strada, a 19-year-old Arizona State University commit, made the most of his lone game of the weekend as he led the Wings to a 6-2 win over the Brookings Blizzard on Friday night.

The Scottsdale native and Jr. Coyotes graduate had two goals, including the game-winner and two assists in the win. For the season, Strada is second in team scoring to date with nine points in seven games.

“Joey has established some pretty high standards for himself,” said Wings head coach Scott Langer. “He has a big role within our team and he always seems to show up when needed.”
