The NCDC and USPHL have handed out their weekly awards, with a pair from Arizona earning the honors.

Casper Warbirds blueliner Micahlind Pelletier has been named the NCDC Mountain Division Defenseman of the Week, while Minnesota Mullets defender Nolan Gentry is the USPHL North Premier Defenseman of the Week.

Pelletier (‘04/Gilbert) sent home a goal and added an assist in a Warbirds win against the Idaho Falls Spud Kings, and he also had an assist on Feb. 22 against the Ogden Mustangs in another win. He has improved to 10 points in 41 games.

Back home, Pelletier skated for the Arizona Bobcats and Jr. Coyotes.

Gentry (‘05/Phoenix) scored a goal and added two assists for three points in his final pair of regular-season games, including his first game-winning goal against the Isanti Outlaws. He closed 2024-25 with 14 points in 20 games.

Gentry grew up playing for the Arizona Mustangs, Jr. Coyotes, DYHA Jr. Sun Devils and Chaparral High School.
