The USPHL announced Thursday that Ryan Bottrill of the South Shore Kings has been named the NCDC Forward of the Week for games played Jan. 6-17.

The Kings have been one of the hottest teams in the NCDC in any division, going 9-1 in their last 10 games, including a 6-5 overtime win against the league-leading Jersey Hitmen on Jan. 17.

Bottrill, a Scottsdale native, has scored five goals and 10 assists in his first seven games of 2021 played at Hub City Tampa. The hot run has pushed him into the top 10 of league scoring.

During his youth career, Bottrill skated for the Jr. Coyotes.
