OneHockey spring, summer showcases a springboard to junior, college hockey opportunities
For more than 16 years, OneHockey has provided a unique tournament format that has had teams, associations, parents and coaches all raving about the entire experience.
Once the spring and summer arrives, OneHockey kicks it into another gear with its showcase events.
“Since 2004, we have helped hundreds of players move to all junior leagues including USHL, NAHL and all the others,” said OneHockey founder and director Sebastien Fortier. “We also have seen so many players get an NCAA scholarship and get drafted in the NHL.”
Notable alumni of OneHockey events include current NHL stars Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado Avalanche), Johnny Gaudreau (Calgary Flames), Cale Makar (Colorado) and Auston Matthews (Toronto Maple Leafs), as well as budding NHL prospects Dylan Cozens (Chicago Blackhawks), Cody Glass (Vegas Golden Knights), Arthur Kaliyev (Los Angeles Kings) and Nick Robertson (Toronto), as well as many more that have played NCAA Division I and high-end junior hockey.
MacKinnon is one of the top players in the NHL and was selected first overall by Colorado at the 2013 NHL Draft before winning the Calder Trophy as NHL Rookie of the Year in 2014, Gaudreau is a superstar with the Flames after winning the Hobey Baker Award at Boston College in 2014, Makar was named the 2019-20 winner of the Calder Trophy and 2019 Hobey Baker winner, and Matthews was taken first overall by the Maple Leafs in 2016 and just recently became the first player from that draft class to record 300 points in the NHL. He was also a Calder winner in 2017.
Cozens and Glass are former first-round picks by their respective teams, while Kaliyev, who recently won a 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship with Team USA, and Robertson are former second-round draft choices.

“The OneHockey showcases are all about the player’s exposure and we guarantee NCAA and junior scouts in attendance,” Fortier said. “We also host seminars for parents and players to educate themselves.”
In addition, players that sign up with OneHockey’s new partner Eligibility Wizard will save 30 percent. Eligibility Wizard is the most advanced NCAA software ever designed.
